Manufacturing
We
have developed several programs for internal use under contract
for a global manufacturing leader. One multi-user program developed
to view CAD graphics of machinery and related data was deployed
at several sites across the country.
We have designed a web-based issues management system. This system
allows users to submit issues to various departments using a browser.
Department members can assign and track issues, giving them much
greater control over problems facing their department. This system
was developed as a Java server application with a SQL Server backend.
A Microsoft® Excel VBA application to transfer production
scheduling data from a flat file to an existing spreadsheet.
This application is expected to save many hours for production
scheduling management.
We Developed an Microsoft® Access network application for
electronically managing standard forms and requests. Part of this
project involved creating structure in an Oracle server and connecting
it to the Access application. The "IT Help Request" part
of this project automatically dials a pager service to page a
technician. This application greatly enhances the IT department's
ability to assist users. A purchase request system allows the
purchasing department to track approvals and other requirements
for creation of purchase orders. The application was also designed
to automatically detect a user's network login providing for
a secure and user-friendly environment.
We have Created a multi-user database application for tracking
assets for the IT department. Data structure created in Oracle
with Access front-end.
A multi-user application for storing raw material data and calculating
averages of properties based on user-selected lots. Used for aid
in selecting raw material to put into production. Designed with
Oracle back-end data.
Other manufacturing work includes: Testing for and implemented
Y2K fixes to existing Access applications. Enhancing existing
applications and providing support for custom applications.

We completed multi-user project for managing state licensee data.
Created automatic mail merge from the application to WordPerfect.

enhanced an M.S. Access insurance claims tracking system for a
national insurance company.
We created a networked windows application to schedule clients'
time with tax preparers for a national tax preparation franchise.

usage and supply application created for a large manufacturing
company. This application retrieves data readings from a company
owned power-generating plant as well as from the utility company.
•Developed multi-user law office management program for a large
personal injury firm. Features include case management, prospect
tracking, messaging and billing. This software is currently being sold commercially.

to be sold as a commercial product.
